A concrete mixer is a type of attachment that can be used with nearly all skid steers.  It allows the operator to mix and transport material on the job site, where it can be used for a variety of applications including pouring fence holes, slabs, side walks and drive ways.  A mixer attachment consists of a rotating drum that is powered by the skid steer's hydraulic system.  The drum mixes the as it rotates, ensuring that all of the material is evenly mixed.  Once the concrete is mixed, it can be discharged through a chute into a wheelbarrow or directly into your work area.  The skid steer concrete mixer is an essential tool for any construction project, as it ensures that the concrete is mixed properly and transported quickly and easily to the job site.

Materials
• Q355 is also called A-572-50.
The A-572-50 steel is required to form the shell of the bucket. 
• NM400 is also called HB400 or AR400.
The AR400 steel on the bucket sides strengthen the bucket for high impact and abrasion. In fact the "AR" in AR400 steel stands for "Abrasian Resistant". The 400 of AR400 is a reference to the Brinell hardness of the steel. If you are looking to buy an excavator bucket, inquire what type of steel it is made of. Some buckets are built using a steel called T1 steel. AR400 steel is stronger and more wear resistant than T1 steel
