The standard machine of the W2000 milling machine has a milling width of 2 meters and is a large milling machine with a maximum milling depth of 32 centimeters, which can meet the needs of most road maintenance work. Its main advantages lie in stable performance and high work efficiency.
This milling machine is capable of performing three main tasks: ordinary milling, precision milling, and repairing rumble tapes.
Fine milling and planing refers to replacing the milling and planing machine with a precision milling and planing drum with a smaller tool spacing. The tool spacing of a regular milling and planing drum is 15mm, while the tool spacing of a precision milling and planing drum is generally within 8mm. The precision milling process is mainly used for roads where the foundation of the road surface is relatively intact and does not require thorough cleaning from the bottom layer. For the first time, the use of precision milling machine technology can quickly level the road surface and restore traffic.
Using a milling and planing machine to repair a rumble band is an emerging construction process. The "rumble strip" is generally located on the shoulder of the road beside the carriageway, formed by a series of concave and convex mechanisms, which use sound and vibration to warn drivers who have left the carriageway, in order to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents.
